Cross Country Mission
(a) The Missionary Oblates of the New Syllabus (ObNS) is a nondenominational interfaith mission to publicly offer the ‘New Syllabus’ educational curriculum to help usher in God’s Kingdom and prepare for the Day of Judgment.
(a)(1) God Almighty ﷲ, the creator of the universe, through the holy prophets of all ages, including Muhammad Peace Be Upon Him, communicated one religion to humanity which was routinely perverted by exploitative forces. The name of this religion is Islam, which is largely the same among Israelites and Ishmaelites. The religion of the Babylonian Talmud, however, is not Islam.
(a)(2) God’s will is manifest in the Dao or ‘Way’ of nature’s due process.
(b) ObNS is the outward expression of the private practice of the Friend Antarah, founder of the ‘New Syllabus’ program and Governor of NOVUS SYLLABUS L.L.C. (N∴S∴).
(c) ObNS hereby offers to humanity one new syllabus to inform a course of study in pursuit of the understanding of God and nature’s due process, which may better be called ‘a way of life’ or ‘a culture.’
(d) To this end our mission is a ‘Journey to the Center of the World’, that is, to travel across the country, even to the most extreme west, setting up houses of study, i.e. ‘the system’ as represented in the circulation of consols.
(e) ObNS subsumes all prior expressions of the New Syllabus organization as the system’s root consol PC\desktop runtime application powered by Curricular Operations Research and Publication Services (CORPS).
(f) ObNS is a Djedi order of the N∴S∴ diocese of the International Black Cross Organization, FLF-DAO.
(g) Trust Settlement:
(g)(1) God ﷲ is the creator of the universe and the god of Abraham, God Almighty who sent forth a sacrificial lamb into the world to be a counselor and a comforter, and to mercifully atone for the sins of all humanity in order to redeem them from the full penalty of the Law; and this lamb is the King and personal representative of all God’s people throughout the world, the heir to God’s promise for the benefit of humanity, and shall be resurrected with the dead on the Day of Judgment.
(g)(2) N∴S∴ is a limited liability company formed under the laws of the District of Columbia and is not representative of the International Black Cross Organization pursuant to Politburo Bulletin 2(e). The Governor sui jure owns the intellectual property copyright to all of his works of ‘New Syllabus’, which were granted to humanity through him by God, and which are in turn provided by him as trust estate for the benefit of humanity. N∴S∴ shares in the ownership of the works only insofar as it accepts a limited degree of liability on the ‘business’ side of the trust relationship, thereby providing assurance to the ‘religious’ side, and for this service it may collect fees to administer its trusteeship.
(g)(3) The Lord XRST ‘Christ’ YHSVH ‘Jesus’ (‘Isa’) received His Kingdom on Earth from His Father God ﷲ in Heaven, and he is Forever the Land Holder of the Earth on behalf of all God’s people whither or not they accept Him. He (the Governor) has received his fief from his Sovereign Lord of the Fee, Seigneur Iesous Christos, and he is cestui a que use le feoffment fuit fait (‘the person for whose use/benefit the feoffment “deed” was made’).
(g)(4) The Governor sui jure in both his private (personal) and public (administrative) capacity remains assured by his redeemer as a vassal of the sacrificial lamb, the sovereign of God’s Kingdom, who is the beneficiary and heir of all God’s gifts, promises and covenants on behalf of humanity.
(h) Local, regional, national, and/or international Mission Fulfillment Centers of the IBCO, FLF-DAO, shall be established in the regular course of this mission deployment. Their standard operations shall include:

- Consol Clearinghouse
- Mobilization and Demobilization Office
- Peace Enforcement Activity Command Enterprise (PEACE) Consular Outpost
- Immediate Office of Friend (oblative, contemplative)
- Hall of Studies (Beth HaMidrash/library)
- Hall of Meeting (Beth HaKnesset)
(i) MAIN:\>_
(i)(1) The ‘MAIN‘ objective of the oblative N∴S∴ program ‘[human mind] software’ (‘Mindsoft‘) is to provide a functional protocol ‘function’ by which any human mind ‘node’ connected to the DAIS ‘network’ can use knowledge to adjust its performance, a procedure known as squaring the cube; for where knowledge is the limit of the x axis, and adjustment is the limit of the y axis, projection is the limit of the z axis of performance, whereby you notice data, information, and knowledge to audit, assess, assure and adjust your policy, practice, program and project of performance.
(i)(2) Root Policy is the linear algebra f of x from Notice to Data to Information to Knowledge; the Linear function f of thought. Squared Policy is the planar geometry f of x=y from Audit to Assessment to Assurance to Adjustment; the Planar function f of the word, i.e. the application of algebra over a field. This is the due process of Mind Software (Mindsoft) operation. (See, Assurance Policy XV.) Cubed policy logically extends therefore into the temporal/depth/third dimension z from Policy to Practice to Program to Project.
(i)(3) The MAIN objective of the International Black Cross Organization is to enter, pass, and raise (‘instruct’ or ‘knight’) Friends of Christ/Friends of God* to perform the trust obligations in order to service, counsel, and administer the Kingdom of God on Earth, with the body of Christ the King reigning for ever, together with all Her consular and administrative courts and offices, with justness and righteousness ‘equity’, in the nature of a ‘League of Friendship‘ organized as an international, syndicalist, congregationalist, decentralized, and autonomous entity ‘firm’.
(i)(4) [*] AUTHORITIES. James 2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. John 15:12-17 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. (i)(5) Any friend who is devoted to this cause, or any cause of the Lord our God ﷲ, is a friend of God ﷲ, and ministers upon the earth in His name; therefore they may incumber the office of vicar ‘vicarius’, which is to say, a representative, ombudsman, or one acting on behalf of another (in our case, the Prophet Muhammad PBUH, the Lord Krst Yahshuah, or the Lord God ﷲ Almighty)
(j) Appraisal is the act of assessing something or someone, especially to estimate their value. The mission of ObNS shall be to appraise the performance of Mindsoft across the continental DAO. First the mission shall take notice of Mindsoft development and operations, then acquire knowledge thereof; where the performance is deficient, it shall be given quality assurance and adjustment; and where the performance is proficient, it shall be declared maakheru ‘true of voice’ and a gathered meeting of friends. Therefore under the DAISEE program, a server shall apply Protocol C ‘PC’ to conduct a performance appraisal ‘PA’ and, if necessary, render quality assurance ‘QA’ and account adjustment. PA is conducted according to the linear function f(x)=y, while QA is conducted according to the square function f(x,y)=z.
(k) Ultraviolet-Infrared is the quality of the electromagnetic spectrum that bookends the visible light spectrum, i.e. the chakra spectrum. Infrared radiation transmits root chakra heat rays at the same intensity that ultraviolet radiation transmits crown chakra high-frequency rays. The balance between these dialectic extremes is the centered green of the heart chakra ruled by God’s ‘son’ (vicar) YHSVH, the median and medium between God and man, as God is the totality of the electromagnetic spectrum.

Israel-Hamas proxy for U.S.-Iran dialectic: tensions rise between Allied and Axis powers as the beast slouches toward Bethlehem to be born

WASHINGTON, DC — Today, October 19, 2023, the Foreign Affairs Committee of the United States (U.S.) House of Representatives (House) convened a Markup (M/U) of several bills and resolutions in House Visitors Center Room 210. Those bills and resolutions included:
- H.Res. 559, Declaring it is the policy of the United States that a nuclear Islamic Republic of Iran is not acceptable;
- H.R. 340, To impose sanctions with respect to foreign support for terrorist organizations, including Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad;
- H.R. 3266, To require the Secretary of State to submit annual reports reviewing the curriculum used by the Palestinian Authority, and for other purposes;
- H.R. 3774, To impose additional sanctions with respect to the importation or facilitation of the importation of petroleum products from Iran, and for other purposes;
- H.R. 5826, To require a report on sanctions under the Robert Levinson Hostage Recovery and Hostage-Taking Accountability Act, and for other purposes;
- H.R. 2973, To require the Secretary of Defense to develop, in cooperation with allies and partners in the Middle East, an integrated maritime domain awareness and interdiction capability, and for other purposes;
- H.Res. 599, Urging the European Union to designate Hizballah [Hezbollah] in its entirety as a terrorist organization;
- H.R. 1809, To require the development of strategies and options to prevent the export to Iran of certain technologies related to unmanned aircraft systems, and for other purposes.
Committee Chairman McCaul (R-TX) presided. Mr. Crawley reported on the proceedings through the House Clerk’s Office of Official Reporters.
The Markup comes on 12 days after news that “thousands of armed Hamas fighters breached a border security fence and indiscriminately gunning down Israeli civilians and soldiers taken off guard” (ABC News). The Associated Press (AP) reported on 7 October 2023, “Hamas surprise attack out of Gaza stuns Israel and leaves hundreds dead in fighting, retaliation.” As of today, Israel has been given the green light to move into Gaza, marshaling into all out war in the Holy Land and escalating Jihad.
Regarding H.Res. 559, the Chairman remarked that he spoke last week with the Israeli Ambassador who told him about “the horrible war crimes that Hamas committed.” He said that “dozens of babies were murdered, many were found decapitated and burned, Holocaust survivors were kidnapped, and 250 people at a music festival were slaughtered. These ISIS-like atrocities will haunt the world forever.” The Chairman held a moment of silence for “the victims of this massacre, in honor of the lives that they lived.”
The Chairman said that as Israel responds in “self-defense,” the United States stands strongly with its “friend and ally” as it protects itself from “Iran-backed terrorism.” Iran’s nuclear posture is a growing cause of concern to U.S. Representatives. On 4 September 2023, Stephanie Liechtenstein of AP reported, “UN nuclear watchdog report seen by AP says Iran slows its enrichment of near-weapons-grade uranium,” but Ranking Member Meeks remarked today that since President Trump’s hasty withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPoA) which capped Iran’s nuclear enrichment program at 3.67% (among other restrictions), “Iran’s nuclear program has now surged to extraordinarily dangerous levels. In August, the IAEA [International Atomic Energy Agency] reported that Iran’s stockpile of 60% enriched uranium has grown since its May report. Iran now possesses more than 15 times the amount of enriched uranium allowed under JCPoA.” “We are living in, and this is, a very dangerous moment in dealing with Iran’s nuclear program,” the Ranking Member said.
Across the pond, A United Kingdom Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) spokesperson said: “18 October 2023 [yesterday] marks ‘Transition Day’ under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPoA), when certain restrictions on Iran’s nuclear and missile programmes are due to lift, including: 84 UN and 112 UK designations on individuals and entities involved in nuclear or ballistic missile activities; and sectoral measures including arms and missile embargoes on Iran.” President Biden has since imposed new sanctions aimed at Iran’s ballistic missile and drone programs, acting to keep up pressure on Tehran after the expiration of United Nations restrictions on those activities (New York Times).
Mr. Wilson (R-SC) stated that the 18 August 1988 “Hamas Covenant” of the Islamic Resistance Movement contains the provision that “the Day of Judgment will not come about until Moslems fight Jews and kill them. Then the Jews will hide behind the rocks and trees. And the rocks and trees will cry out, ‘O Moslem, there is a Jew hiding behind me. Come and kill him.'” The Representative remarked that “we need to take that seriously.” Mr. Crow of Colorado stated that he finds the language “all means necessary,” with regard to the U.S. suppression of “Iran-backed terrorism,” problematic, and he does not believe that the U.S. should have nuclear force on the table in this debate. He emphasized that the measure did not constitute an Authorized Use of Military Force (AUMF).
The Council on Foreign Relations writes:
Signed in 2015 by Iran and several world powers, including the United States, the JCPOA placed significant restrictions on Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief. President Trump withdrew the United States from the deal in 2018, claiming it failed to curtail Iran’s missile program and regional influence. Iran began ignoring limitations on its nuclear program a year later. Washington and Tehran have both said they would return to the original deal but they disagree on the steps to get there.

Regarding H.R. 2973, Mrs. Wagner of Missouri remarked that “Israel is locked in a generational fight for survival against genocidal Hamas terrorists. The United States stands with Israel as it grieves the unthinkable loss of more than 1400 innocent civilians and it stands with Israel in its fight to eliminate the brutal terrorist group Hamas, period, full stop. … As we saw on October 7, when Hamas launched the deadliest assault on the Jewish people since the Holocaust, Israel is facing a complex range of threats across all domains. On the bloody front and that tragic day, Hamas terrorists infiltrated Israeli communities by air by land and by sea to unleash bloodshed against civilians on a scale that Israel has not seen in its history.”
Mr. Wilson remarked that “Taking hostage is a murderous tactic in a war between dictators’ rule of gun opposing democracy’s rule of law. The Axis of Evil – Putin [President of Russia], Rezaee [Major General (Ret.), Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and former Vice President of Iran], and Xi [President, People’s Republic of China]– must be stopped by peace through strength. Sadly, the September 11th announcement – of all days – of the release of $6 billion to the terrorist regime in Tehran in exchange for five Americans detained confirms this tactic works.”
Regarding H.R. 3266, Mr. Mast (R-FL) and Ranking Member Meeks (D-NY) engaged in a spirited dialectic on popular and national ideologies. Mr. Mast remarked that “there needs to be [a coming to Jesus moment] among many of our colleagues that Hamas is literally Palestinians. Young people, from the time of grade school in the Gaza strip, are given the pedigree to become Hamas, trained to become Hamas, from their algebra and arithmetic to their reading, writing, and geography. The gentleman read some examples from a document he had in his hands which was never moved into the record:
Palestinian 6th graders grammar exercise requires them to add the correct verb to the sentences: the jihad warriors fought in defense of their homeland and the believers rushed to respond to the call to jihad.
Another example, 4th grade Palestinian math problem: the number of martyrs in the First Intifada is 2,026 martyrs and the number of martyrs in the al-Aqsa Intifada if 5,050. The number of martyrs in the two intifadas is how many martyrs?
7th grade physics problem: Newton’s second law; during the First Palestinian uprising, Palestinian youths used slingshots to confront the soldiers of the Zionist occupation and defend themselves from their treacherous bullets. What is the relationship between the elongation of slingshots’ rubber and the tensile strength affecting it?
Geography question, Palestinian 6th graders: to define the borders of Palestine, which completely erases Israel’s existence.
Mr. Mast (R-FL), quoting unknown Palestinian source
Mr. Mast concluded, “People need to move away from this idea of saying that the Palestinians are not Hamas and Hamas is not the Palestinians.”
In response to the gentleman’s remarks, Ranking Member Meeks asked, “Mr. Mast, are you Ku Klux Klan?”
Mr. Mast replied, “No.”
“Because,” the Ranking Member continued, “it was Ku Klux Klan that raised white people to hate black people. And the Ku Klux Klan, today, they’re still here. I get remarks, I get phone calls in my office from people calling me […] and teaching other kids that I’m less than a human being. I don’t say all white people are Ku Klux Klan. I don’t put them all in one category. All Palestinians don’t belong to Hamas just like all white people don’t belong to the Ku Klux Klan.” A heated dialogue ensued, in which the Ranking Member protested engaging in further debate on the matter.
“Let’s have this conversation,” said Mr. Mast.
“I’m not having this conversation with you; you’re not worthy of having a conversation with on this,” said Ranking Member Meeks.
“I would argue differently,” said Mr. Mast.
Order was restored by Acting Chair Kim of California (R-CA), and Ranking Member Meeks reclaimed his time.
The Acting Chair then recognized Mr. Mast, who remarked that he believes he is worthy to speak, and stated further that he is half-white and half-Mexican and is not a member of “that hate organization which I would absolutely despise,” presumably referring to the Ku Klux Klan. “But,” he continued, “let’s recall, they’re not our government.”
The Ranking Member responded that “many of them [Ku Klux Klan members] were elected, they were Senators, they were members of the House, they were judges, so they were part of the government.”
Regarding H.R. 1809, Mr. Keating remarked, “12 days ago the world witnessed the horror unleashed by Hamas against the state and the people of Israel, almost 50 years to the day after Yom Kippur War.”
The House Foreign Affairs Committee, having postponed further proceedings on several measures (it being the sense of the Minority that the Majority is biased to roll call over voice votes in committee), reconvened after a recess to vote via roll call using the new electronic voting system for the first time of any House committee. The Chairman and the Ranking Member agreed that this process saves at lot of time. Provided continued success, the electronic voting system will be used by the chamber to vote for the Speaker of the House, the Chairman said.

Volume 1, Issue 3
An Act to Establish and Regulate a Mystery School System for the Decentralized and Autonomous Administration of General and Higher Education.

Article 1. Universitas
(1) There is hereby established an institute named Universitas Autodidactus, FLF-DAO, which means “Self-Teaching University, a firm league of friendship in the nature of a decentralized autonomous organization.” This institution may be abbreviated “UA.”
(2) The UA shall operate as one firm. This firm shall be organized by a system of syndicates which are themselves organized into colleges. Any vested member of a syndicate under Article 3 (called a “student” or talib) shall be a beneficial member of the firm. Any student who vouchsafes their trust, faith, and/or belief in the operations of the firm shall be a member thereof.
(3) The firm shall be governed by a “Steering Council,” or “Committee of the Whole,” composed of two delegates (called “friends”) elected by each Syndicate and confirmed by their respective Collegium. The friends shall represent their collegiate syndicates in the firm in their own private sui jurisdiction (the “private” or “interior”). These “friends” of the firm shall be the trustees thereof.
(4) The Steering Council shall assemble at the national and global levels. The Officium Tribunus Plebis shall be incorporated into the organization of the National and International Steering Councils by reference.
(5) Assemblies of this governing body of the firm shall be held in the nature of a public meeting, shall follow Robert’s Rules of Order where appropriate; and shall duly notice all regular and special meetings.
Article 2. Collegium Ecclesia
(1) There is hereby established within the firm a forum of Collegium Ecclesia Syndicatus, which means “United Assembly of the Society,” which may also be known as an “Ecclesiastic College,” which is composed of committees (called “syndici”) of student bodies. Herein, “syndicate“ is synonymous with “committee,“ which is synonymous with “student body.“
(2) Such a College may be organized or united on the basis of locality with diversified syndication, or on the basis of a particular discipline, subject, trade, craft, or operation.
(3) The syndici constituting the College shall serve the function of disciplinary departments, and may be styled “Syndicatus [Disciple/Subject], Collegium Ecclesia [Local/Name].”
(4) A member of a syndicate, or student, shall be called “syndicus,” meaning “syndic.”
(5) Assemblies of this governing body of the firm shall be held in the nature of a public meeting, shall follow Robert’s Rules of Order where appropriate; and shall duly notice all regular and special meetings.
Article 3. Syndicatus
(1) There is hereby established within the forum of Collegium Ecclesia a mechanism to allow a member of the firm to establish a syndicate by acclamation (Latin: acclamatio, a vote by means other than ballot) of two or more additional students (the “public”) known as the student body.
(2) There is hereby chartered and instituted within the firm The Chairman, the Elective Faculty and Student Body of the Society of the New Syllabus, which may also be known as “Societas Novus Syllabus” which means “The Society of the New Syllabus.” This syndicate, or committee, shall constitute its own college, shall stand perpetually, shall be governed by NOVUS SYLLABUS L.L.C., and shall have a chair at the global and national Steering Councils of the UA.
(3) Proceedings of syndici shall include: Semester, Course [of study], Seminar [on subject], and Symposium [on theme]. Such proceedings may be styled “Subcommittee on […],” and shall follow Robert’s Rules of Order where appropriate.
(3)(a) A course is served by a CORPS of the same control number. Course work is administered by the CORPS of the same control number.
(4) Attendees of collegiate, ecclesiastical, and syndical proceedings shall be attired in a white shirt or garment and black or dark jacket.
(5) The UA shall provide to the public a “service” by and through its syndici, in receipt of which the public shall make an offering of their own free will and accord (“deposit”) as a token of their trust, faith, and/or belief in the services provided by the firm, thereby becoming a benefactor of the proceeding and a member of the firm. It is this exchange, made freely, knowingly, and voluntarily by the public to the private that re-venues the current “C” from the exterior to the interior of the firm.
(6) It shall be the prerogative of the syndici to provide for the dispatch of deposit collectors styled “treasurer” and subordinate “comptrollers.” The deposit collected shall constitute a vested interest in and appreciation of the subject matter of the proceeding, and shall inure to the benefit of the Syndicate. This is to say that at every proceeding in which the public appreciates the subject matter, there shall be a discharge of deposits.

Jesus Is Our Surety
“By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.”

INTRODUCTION
- This morning we studied the judgment seat of Christ, for it is the horrible and certain end of all men.
- But tonight I want to remind you of our glorious Mediator and Surety with God, the Lord Jesus Christ.
THE DEFINITION
- Surety. A person who undertakes some specific responsibility on behalf of another who remains primarily liable; one who makes himself liable for the default or miscarriage of another, or for the performance of some act on his part (e.g. payment of a debt, appearance in court for trial, etc.).
- We have surety bonds, performance bonds, bail, and bond to guarantee legal, financial, and professional obligations, such as with construction and insurance companies.
- When we need to borrow more than our credit allows, we appreciate a surety; if we were arrested for something, we would appreciate the surety bond that lets us go free.
- Judah became a surety for Benjamin to his father Jacob (Gen 43:8-10; 44:30-34; 42:37).
- Aaron became a surety for Israel in their sins and stood between them (Num 16:41-48).
THE SURETISHIP
- Jesus, a High Priest after the order of Melchisedec, was made the Surety of His people.

THE BENEFITS
- The Lord Jesus fulfilled the righteousness of the law on our behalf (Rom 8:3-4), so that we are righteous in God’s sight with His perfect obedience (Eph 5:25-27; Col 1:21-22).
- The Lord Jesus paid the penalty for sins by His death for us (I Pet 2:24), so that there are no more sins against our charge when we stand before Him (John 1:29; Heb 9:28).
- He lives to make sure we are absolutely, completely, and eternally saved (Heb 7:25).
- There is an abundant entrance into heaven waiting for the children of God (II Pet 1:11).
- Since Jesus is our Surety, it is impossible for God to withhold blessings (Romans 8:32).
- His death reconciled us to God, but He still lives to be an eternal Surety (Romans 5:10).
THE APPLICATION
- There is no fear in the proper knowledge of Christ Jesus our Saviour (II Timothy 1:12).
- The LORD will show us His secret and covenant, if we fear and seek Him (Ps 25:14).
- We must learn to trust Him. He has done it; He is in heaven for us; He will receive us.
- It is simple: “Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed” (Rom 9:33; 10:8-11).
- A woman was healed and had her faith commended, when it was weak (Mark 5:25-34).
- Those who lack faith and assurance, I ask how many minutes you spend seeking Him.
- And you should consider long and seriously His faithful words “no wise” in John 6:37.
- We should seek and receive the benefits of the covenant in our hearts (Eph 3:14-19).
- Let us bring forth the fruit of righteousness with far-sighted vision (II Peter 1:9-11).
CONSLUSION
- The Lord’s supper is a memorial feast of our Surety’s covenant death for us (I Corinthians 11:23-26).
- Let us partake of the Lord’s supper tonight with the joy that His suretiship should put in our hearts.

EQUITABLE SUBROGATION
Subrogation is the process where one party assumes the legal rights of another, typically by substituting one creditor for another. Subrogation can also occur when one party takes over another’s right to sue.
For example, when an insurance company compensates a policyholder for an injury, the policyholder’s right to sue the person responsible for the harm may be subrogated, meaning it is transferred from the policyholder to the insurance company.

Surety’s subrogation rights
A surety who pays off the debts of another party may be entitled to be subrogated to the creditor’s former claims and remedies against the debtor to recover the sum paid. This would include the endorser on a bill of exchange. The surety will then have the benefit of any security interest in favour of the creditor for the original debt. Conceptually this is an important point, as the subrogee will take the subrogor’s security rights by operation of law, even if the subrogee had been unaware of them.

A presentment made without express contract presumes the recipient to be the trustee for a dead person’s estate without surety and not a living Cestui Que. An estate may, however, be entrusted to a “person” (corporation) for the use of a living spirit who may “possess property” in the nature of equitable use title not legal title.
There is sufficient precedent in Roman, Papal, and English law to presume a human body to be chattel property (i.e., a dead person or a mere human creature without soul or spirit) unless otherwise established to posses a soul from God. The cestui que who is presumed dead or lost at sea MUST EXPRESSLY STATE that they are indeed the living cestui que to be given standing as one of the three Chancellors in a Court of Equity and Chancery deciding the matter of an estate (dead person). The common law, as it pertains to the military jurisdiction of the public, cannot abrogate a matter of equity respecting a living free man or woman on the land.
Statue of Mortmain prohibits possession of property by the “dead hand” of a corporation (such as the Church); therefore a “person” (dead in the eyes of God) cannot possess property; rather it reverts to the feudal lord.
The Remedy is that the cestui que (beneficiary) possesses equitable title by nature to the property as a living child of god, but never holds the legal title of the trustee which is the feudal lord or its agent, including any person who is a citizen of the jurisdiction.
There is precedence in Germanic law that a man who holds property on account of to the use of another is bound to fulfill his trust.
Furthermore, precedent is found in the Institutes of Justinian at 2.23.1-2: “… it is required that the one heir is duly appointed and is committed to his trust (Fideicommissum) to transfer the inheritance to another; otherwise the testament in which no heir has been duly appointed is void; the words which are properly and commonly used to install a fideicommisum are I beg, I ask, I wish, I entrust…” This doctrine was brought to England by “foreign ecclesiastics” (ministers and consuls) in order to evade the Statute of Mortmain by making the Church cestui a que use le Feoffment fuit fait.
In sum, cestui que use confers the benefit of use of property to another (a minister or consul) without the legal ownership and attendant duties and obligations to the lord and crown as trustee. Compare to usufruct, or right of use of fruits (interest, profits, etc.) of property.

AN ENGLISH SYLLABUS

The following paper represents the Author’s second attempt to convey the Occult Systems at work in Literary Theory as presented in the Course of Professor Antonio Lopez’s design, commenced and completed in Fall 2015 at The George Washington University. The initial mission of the Author in his commencement of the Course, being to illuminate the god-workings of author and the textual manifestation of its will as perceived by eye & I via a Cabalistic pattern, was poorly embodied in the First Paper; it was much too Occult and not Disciplined enough in the ways demanded by Academic Literary Theory as a school (i.e., it did not accurately enough translate its esoteric significance into academic vocabulary as we have been learning it). The Author remains of the opinion that Occult working are not only present in the Theory, but inherently warranted in their exposition due to the practical way that they (to say “it”: the Cabala) structures this and every other discipline, like a skeleton to a body, or a syllabus to a school. The present paper will more pointedly align the texts of the syllabus of the Course along the ancient Cabalistic pathway to unveil the (con)text-to-author / human-to-god / matter-to-spirit / solid-to-ethereal / being-to-nothingness / condition-to-absolute / phenom-to-nous relationship inherent in all disciplines. The author has had success applying the Cabalistic pathway to various real-world systems—even to those as dry and bureaucratic as the New York City Department of Health—and herein wishes to apply this pattern again to the present system of Literary Theory, with text being at the bottom of the system, being the densest, most matter-full, and author (or writing, the act) being at the very top, the crown, the most ineffable, the most ethereal; and with “meaning” as an absolute pool, encompassing the whole system, we shall elucidate the metaphysical condensation which takes place when the absolution of uniform universal meaning is channeled through an author whose creative process begets a text of new form and invention: a literary text.
A brief priming in the Cabala is required. Without the use of visuals, we may structure the Pattern in a 3-by-7 grid, also a matrix. The matrix describes the relationship of numbers, themselves beholden of certain values. Row 0: 000; Row 1: 010; Row 2: 302; Row 3: 504; Row 4: 060; Row 5: 807; Row 6: 090; Row 7: 010. The 7th Row is naturally the bottom, the 0 Row the Absolute above the peak, Row 1. The 7th Row is matter; the 0 Row absolute spirit. All elements of the disciplines may be plotted on this graph. Below we will examine where the theories within the texts of the Course’s syllabus fall along these coordinates. In our present application, Row 7 represents apprehending the literary act through its evidence in physical text and Row 1 represents the apprehension of the literary act through the act of writing out the text, mediating the absolute spirit of “meaning” through the I / 1 / eye of the author / the point of the pen / into the solidity of text, which in turn (“as above so below”) represents the 0 plane of absolute meaning married to the 1 plane of the authorial ego: together being “10”. To use the eye / I to guide the text from the 7th to the 1st Row (which is to undo the “10” into the “1” and, ultimately, the “0”) is called reading. The numerical spectrum which lies between the 10 and the 0 is arranged according to proximity between matter and spirit, or, here, text and meaning; below, the examination of each “number,” or “emanation,” [Hebrew: sephirah] of meaning will correspond to a text in our Course’s syllabus.
Herein I am not performing reading to support evidence, neither exploiting evidence to support theories (as they have been presented in the Course), but using theories to support Science: the Occult Systems at work in all. Let it be reiterated that Occult Science, the here-defined Undiscipline of Disciplines, or that system which may undiscipline other disciplines to illuminate their commonality, is a malleable application-based System which is as (and more) useful to Academic Critical Theory as Marxist, Feminist, Neo-Colonial, Crip, Queer, or any other application-based theory.
The Cabala may be apprehended, as a structure, through the similar diagram of I. A. Richards’ design, as explained in his “The Analysis of a Poem”. To preface its design, and to explain its need, Richards says “The critic is, throughout, judging of experiences, of states of mind; but too often he is needlessly ignorant of the general […] form of the experiences with which he is concerned. He has no clear ideas as to the elements present or as to their relative importance. Thus, an outline or schema of the mental events which make up the experience of … ‘reading’ a poem, can be of great assistance” (The Lyric Theory Reader, 166). This author is of the same opinion, except that where psychology is employed as the backbone of critical judgement (at the ellipses), this author generalizes the pattern to an Occult one, but it is beholden of the same characteristics; as where a New Criticism was founded upon Richards’ system, so a New Syllabus is erected upon the Occult Systems.
The diagram on page 167 of the Lyric Theory Reader is remarkable, not merely for its simplicity and practicality in visually representing and alining the elements of reading for the education of the new student, but also in its striking resemblance to the ancient Cabalistic pattern of spirit-to-matter manifestation. Richard’s diagram is composed of the words “Arcadia, Night, a Cloud, Pan, and the Moon” being each drawn together by individual lines which taper, or condense, into the center of an eye, from which the same number of lines expand outward and cascade down a six-fold plane. Several things must be observed here. (1) The list forms the base of an inverted triangle whose peak lies at the eye (note all connotations: eyes see, I see, I, 1, phallic, ego, exterior-to-interior transitions); (2) The eye also forms the peak of a triangle which descends unto the six-fold pattern which is its base and earth and depth [note that the Cabalistic pattern contains three triangles, only the highest being upright, the lower two being inverted and pointing to “10,” the earth]; (3) The eye, or the ego, represents a singularity, such as that which lies within a scientific black hole, wherein matter in condensed unto one [1] ultimate point from which it then manifests anew on a different plane of existence: herein the information of text is shown to be being consumed by the eye and regenerated on the interior of the mental landscape, which is the six-fold pattern; (4) Richards’ design can be read Cabalistically both backwards and forwards: “Arcadia, Night, a Cloud, Pan, and the Moon” is the absolute abstract “meaning” at Row 0 being drawn and condensed into the eye (the I) (the 1) at Row 1 and manifested on the subsequent six descending planes unto the base level of text—and it is also the surface of the text, the 10, the base, the words themselves, which are then siphoned by the eye of the reading ego into the system which ascends the number line unto the 000 plane of that text’s absolute meaning. In either design, Richards and Cabala each maintain one absolute plane and seven planes of manifestation, of which one is a 1 / I / eye / subjective ego: first manifestation of differentiation and numerical progression, i.e. time. Richards’ planes are designated {by row number: [mine (his)]}: [0 (0)] “Arcadia, Night, a Cloud, Pan, and the Moon”; [1 (unnumbered)] eye; [2 (1)] visual sensations; [3 (2)] tied imagery; [4 (3)] free imagery; [5 (4)] references; [6 (5)] emotions; [7 (6)] attitudes. The Cabalisitc planes and their syllabic correspondences are listed further below.
Richards later, in “The Definition of a Poem,” defines that structure as “a class of experiences which do not differ in any character more than a certain amount, varying for each character, from a standard experience” (176). He later defines the “standard experience” as that of the poet in the completion of the composition; the text of the composition being merely the evidence that the experience was had, what form in which it was experienced, and those qualities of form which will lend the experience to others as readers reëxperiencing the event. Therefore, within the parameters of this spectrum, the base-matter 7-plane of the poem is the form which the event (to be subjectively experienced by the reader) is conveyed in, the phenomenal evidence of it, and the high-ineffable 1-plane is the “standard,” or perfect, or absolute, experience of it, as aggregated form the multitude of experiences which it may inform, the whole of these being called “meaning,” or, in Occult terms, God.
Row 7 [010] is matter, is text, and in theory is understanding the text at the level of its words alone, the evidence of its manifestation alone, without considering the elementary composition or the etymology or the depth or the implications thereof. The text of our Course which most exactly emulates this nature is Stephen Best and Sharon Marcus’s Surface Reading: An Introduction. Row 7 lies upon the plane of solid matter and is most dense, sitting upon the surface of the earth while on high Row 1 rests ethereal in the heavens. Similarly, Best and Marcus’s theory only accounts for the surface of text, considering the excavation of deep-rooted meaning a fallacy, or, at the very least, unnecessary to good criticism. They first align themselves with Fredric Jameson’s conceit upon Symptomatic Reading that “interpretation should … seek ‘a latent meaning behind a manifest one’” (3) which is as well the Occult thesis; but then they depart on the basis that latent meaning may be apparent from the gaps in the surface of the matter of the text, and thus requires no probing as is required herein. This is fallacious as it assumes that what the text does not say may be glimpsed from a surface observation of it, but requires no investigation of those hollow depths to make use of them. Surface is thus rendered to mean what is “evident, perceptible, apprehensible in texts; what is neither hidden nor hiding”; surface as “materiality”; surface as “intricate verbal structure”; surface as the “location of patterns…within and across texts”, to say that this theory of reading looks for patterns “in order to break free of and reach beyond them to a deep truth too abstract to be visible or even locatable in a single text” (9-11). Symptomatic Surface Reading thus advocates for a look at the superficial aggregate of many texts rather than a probing investigation of the esoterism in one to evoke deep meaning via a critical system. Not only is this oxymoronic due to the desire of these theorists to evoke depth solely from the surface, but it pointedly ignores the obvious nature of every singular text to span the spectrum from matter to spirit, from text to the highest depths of absolute meaning. Remaining in the realm of that which is obvious and perceptible may lay plain the landscape but excavate nothing that cannot be better excavated by localized plumbing. And so in the base-10-kingdom of matter, we either choose to plumb the depths and perhaps risk intention fallacy on part of some divine persona (which we feel to know to exist, and must thus delve in search of) or remain on the surface of matter and merely describe, account, aggregate, accurately, as like a computer. This latter method is all well and good should the reader will to remain in the Kingdom of earth, but we as critics will to ascend up to the heights of absolute meaning, and so remaining upon the Surface will serve us unwell. If surface is “materiality,” then materiality is merely the evidence of deeper Cause which must be excavated to understand the result in any scientific way. The surface of the text should be used to obtain a foundation for summiting the system of literary meaning.
Row 6 [090] is the foundation of ascension from text unto absolute meaning. Since the foundation lies securely upon the surface, the 6th Row accounts for the generative nature of the text proper, i.e., how the physical word is able to conjure in the mind impressions of some other reality. The methods of apprehension inherent in this practice are best represented in our New Criticism readings, foregoing Richards since his model serves as an analogue to our present one. The latter New Critics (specifically, for our purposes, T.S. Eliot, Cleanth Brooks, and Robert Penn Warren) used Richards’ model to imperfect affect as they vehemently crusaded against Intentional Fallacy and insisted on apprehending the text at the level of its impressions and sensations upon the reader. This focus on the text as matter—as syntax, word choice, meter/rhythm patterns, etc. (not much better than the Surface Critics)–emphasizes the bottom of the Cabalistic Pattern, the 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, or the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th Rows, at the expense of the higher cognitive will and mercy and the trinity of consciousness of the god-author persona at the higher Rows of the pattern. Therefore New Criticism lies at the Foundation-9 of the Occult methodology in terms of its mission to illuminate the base-10 of text with the major comprehensive faculties of the 8-intellect and 9-emotion and spans up to the Harmonious-6, but ascends no further than that. But what furthermore entrenches New Criticism at the Foundation of a Cabalistic Interpretation of Literary Theory is its concern with the scientific method of reading and criticizing. While “the language of science represents an extreme degree of specialization of language in the direction of a certain kind of precision,” it must “forego, because of its methods, matters of attitude and interpretation,” matters with which literature is consumed (Cleanth and Brooks, 179); it thus became the necessity of New Critics to impose a scientific methodology of provable interpretation of subjective feelings as based on objective and concrete textual evidence of syntax, meter, etc. In this way they have already begun the work of the Occult Science; similarly as texts are mapped from their form to their impression upon the mind, Occult Science is primarily concerned with mapping the relationship between that which we can perceive (phenomena, matter) to that which we cannot perceive (noumenon, spirit) in the evocation of an objective system of interpretation. Furthermore is it useful to note that Cleanth and Brooks write, “both the impulse and methods of poetry are rooted very deep in human experience, and that formal poetry itself represents, not a distinction from, but a specialization of, thoroughly universal habits of human thinking and feeling” (182). Note the emphasis on depth, and the necessary departure from surface reading via this New Critical Methodology unto the submerged, esoteric, systems of relation. Note also the emphasis upon poetry’s ability to convey, or to conduct, “universal habits” of humanity into unique form; this represents the transition from an Occult absolute meaning of consciousness to its apparent manifestation in form via author. Text, just as Earth, is the result of Divine Cognizance, which is the Cause, the Pattern being the means, or, the methodology. New Critics imply the objectivity of the result without accounting for the Cause; thus necessitating further investigation through the Pattern.
